El Tesoro Reposado tequila is aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for nine to eleven months. This careful process creates a sweet and smoky flavor, with hints of vanilla and oak.
Pale golden yellow color. Rich pickling spice, warm caramel, tropical flower, anise, marinated olive, and manchengo aromas are complex and deep. A silky, smooth entry leads to a dryish medium to full body of dates, figs, creme brulee, marinated pepper and olive, and gentle brown spices. Finishes with a long, elegant fade of dried fruit, custard, and spice. A wonderfully rich and supple reposado.
