If the proportion in terms of grape variety remains a secret, on the other hand it is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from 7 Grands Crus terrois of Champagne: Aÿ, Bouzy, Verzenay, Mailly, Chouilly (Mont-Aigu), Cramant, (Les Bushes), Avize, Mesnil sur Oger (The Joyettes), and a Premier Cru: Hautvillers, this famous village where lived Dom Pérignon, a monk of the abbey, remarkable oenologist for his works of this time.
