El Tesoro Anejo is slowly aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for two to three years. This aging process imparts a stronger influence of oak but still allows the spirit to maintain the complexion of agave. You’ll taste a hint of maple sweetness with notes of red fruit acidity, vanilla and caramel.
Golden yellow color. Aromas of dill pickle, black olive, cheese rind, and chocolate-coconut frosting with a satiny medium-full body and a long intricate cola, sandalwood, dried cherry, papaya and pineapple, mint gelato, and peppery spice finish. Stunning complexity and depth of flavor.
